Transport & fares

What each option costs and how fast it moves. A trip is the flat charge plus the per-kilometre rate, and traffic multiplies the travel time — a higher figure means a slower ride.

The map quotes the fare for the trip you picked, so the number there is the base charge plus the kilometres. The tables are the rates themselves.

Between cities

Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja are about 440 km apart, and there are three ways over. Buses leave from each city's motor park — buy the ticket there first — while flights go from the airports.
